2010 Sweetheart Stephanie Standley
Hi, my name is Stephanie Standley. I am a 2010 Willits High School graduate and live in Willits with my parents Kent and Jackie Standley. My older brother Jacob is currently serving in the United States Air Force in Okalahoma City. I have been active in 4-H and FFA since I was 7 participating in showing chickens, swine, horses, and pygmy goats. I also competed in 4-H presentations and took Gold in State. I've been a member of the Willits Junior Horsemans Association since 1999 and currently serve as President. I first rode the Willits Frontier Days parade in 1997 at the age of 5 and have ridden in the parade every year since. In my spare time, I enjoy riding my horse Bailey and competing in gymkhanas, rodeos, and other events. I'd like to thank the Willits community, businesses and friends and family that have supported me and the Willits Frontier Days organization over the years. Have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July celebration. |
Runner-Up Brittany White
Hi, my name is Brittany White. I am a 5th generation resident of Mendocino County and represent 3 generations of participation in Willits Frontier Days. My grandfather Richard White and uncle Chris White, have both served as president of the organization, with other family members serving as volunteers over the years. In addition to my family heritage, since I was 5 years old, it has been a dream of mine to run for Sweetheart. I hope to fulfill that dream this year. I have been involved in 4-H and FFA since I was 8 years old. I have raised and shown swine and am raising a market lamb this year. I am a senior at Willits High School, volunteering in various activities and serving as Business Manager of the Willits High Year Book. I look forward to serving as a positive role model to kids here in our community and representing Willits Frontier Days with honor and pride. Thanks to those who have supported and sponsored me, and my friends and family who also been there for me. |
